For the first time in Greece, a specialized Seminar for Personnel Certification on Sustainable Tourism is organized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), on 15-17 June 2016 in Athens.
Designed for three days of intensive training, the seminar offers a unique opportunity to acquire an in-depth understanding of the criteria and GSTC indicators for hotels and tour operators, the GSTC criteria for destinations and to familiarize with the available tools for sustainable tourism certification. Apart from the exchange of knowledge among the participants, emphasis is placed on presenting best practice examples from leading sustainable tourism businesses and destinations from the extensive base of GSTC and its members.

Further expertise will be gained by presentations of practical ideas for promoting sustainable and responsible travel experiences through case studies and examples of best practice.
Participants will receive, upon successful completion of a written examination, a Certificate of Successful Completion of the Seminar by GSTC, the most important organization for Sustainable Tourism worldwide.
Seminar will be held in English.
Deadline for registrations is June 12, 2016.
