The first exhibition Grecia Panorama took place in 20-21 January 2018 at the ParkLake shopping center, Bucharest, where passersby’s are estimated according to the malls’s official monitoring devices of over 45.000 on Saturdays and Sundays. ParkLake is considered one of the biggest and most important new shopping centers in Bucharest and attracts large numbers of people, from the middle-upper socioeconomic background, as “premium shoppers”.
The exhibition was strongly supported by the most important tour operators and travel agencies in Romania, such as PARALELA45, EUROLINES – TUI and EXIMTUR and also from important representatives from the Greek food industry such as Terra Creta, Alexandrion and so on.
A rich entertainment program during both days of the fair truly managed to engage the interest and the participation of the Romanian visitors, as with the case of the famous Chef Joseph Hadad and the Greek electric string quartet Fortissimo’s performance.
Romania is a neighboring country to Greece, with thousands of visitors that come to enjoy their holidays in popular Greek destinations – with constant growing numbers and a higher profile of Romanians constantly emerging, according to official statistics and inferences. Greek exports are also a key factor for many companies which have established strong business ties especially in the food industry.
