Foodexpo is a trade forum in Greece that managed to attract the attention of international markets and made Greece the center for the development of Food and Beverages in Southeastern Europe.
In the first six years of its operation, Foodexpo managed to rise to the top of the Food & Beverage exhibitions in Greece and become one of the most important and most influential in the wider region of southeastern Europe.
By making strategic moves it managed, in a very short period of time, to gain international reach, contributing significantly to the strengthening of the export operations of Greek businesses and consequently to the stimulation of the Greek economy.
By attracting exhibitors and buyers from over 80 countries, Foodexpo transforms Metropolitan Expo into a multicultural commercial forum.
Indicatively, in the 2019 event, international visitors exceeded 3,500 while foreign exhibitors reached 250 from 33 different countries. While the first estimates on the next event in 2020, show a turnout estimate of around 5,000 international visitors from 85 countries and a participation estimate of 300 foreign exhibitors from 38 countries.
Responding to the need for a market of organic (bio) products, Foodexpo will launch this year in Hall 3 a new section where exhibitors can participate with organic and natural products.
Furthermore, a wide range of parallel events are scheduled as well as presence of the best products from Greece and abroad. The Food Expo Greece is held alongside with Oenotelia, as every year.
