Aegean Cuisine Network – Manifesto of Cycladic Cuisine

Aegean Cuisine membership event will be held on Monday 16th March within the frame of the Food Expo Greece exhibition at Metropolitan Exhibition Center.

The event includes the Cycladic Gastronomy Manifesto presentation, for the first time in public and in sector’s specialists, by Elias Mamalakis, renowned author-editor of Olive magazine, and Dimitri Rousounelos, author and member of Mykonos Gastronomy Club. Furthermore, journalists and key figures of gastronomy will attend the event, such as George Hatzigiannakis, awarded owner of “Selene” restaurant in Santorini, as well as plurality of special persons, working for the highlighting of the Aegean Cuisine and overall travel experience.

The event will also host the awarding of membership certificates and badges to the new members of the network, while will be extended dialogue and views exchange regarding the present and the future of the network, the Cycladic gastronomy and its connection with hosting, production and the development of the tourism product.

The Aegean Cuisine is an initiative performed by the Chamber of Cyclades with the support of the South Aegean Region, in cooperation with the Chamber of Dodecanese, and aims to promote the quality of local products and the Aegean wine-gastronomy for the highlighting of local production and thematic tourism in guests of the Aegean islands, who seek the Aegean feeling and experience.
