With a history of participation since the fair’s inception in 1926, Bulgaria has maintained a continuous presence in various general and sectoral exhibitions of TIF-HELEXPO, the organizing body of the event.
“TIF is the largest trade event in Southeast Europe, providing an ideal opportunity to strengthen economic, business, political, cultural, and educational relations between Bulgaria and Greece,” said Bulgarian Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stoyanov.
Amidst a period of significant upheaval on both domestic and international fronts, the 87th TIF will showcase the latest challenges in technology, innovation, environmental protection, energy, education, start-ups, and e-government. By focusing on these areas, the fair aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers.
Additionally, the event will feature a wide range of entertainment suitable for all ages, ensuring an enjoyable experience for attendees beyond business and trade matters. This nine-day celebration will serve as a platform to reflect the momentum and trends of both domestic and international entrepreneurship.
Beyond its economic and cultural significance, the Thessaloniki International Fair also serves as a crucial annual meeting point for Greece’s political leadership and its citizens. During the fair, the country’s leaders will have the opportunity to engage with the public, providing insights into the political and economic agenda for the upcoming year.
According to TIF-HELEXPO, as the honored country at the 87th TIF, Bulgaria will showcase its achievements, culture and potential to a broad audience. The fair will serve as an ideal platform for Bulgaria to strengthen ties with Greece and explore avenues for collaboration in various sectors.
