TBEX Europe 2023 Ends With Travel Blogger Fam Trips in the Peloponnese

TBEX Europe 2023 held last week in Kalamata in the Peloponnese, comes to close this week with bloggers from all over the world on fam trips getting a taste of what Greece has to offer.
This year’s Europe event held at Philoxenia Hotel in Kalamata, welcomed hundreds of travel bloggers and content creators from all over the world who had the chance to network with dozens of participating companies. Topics covered this year included AI and content creation, boosting TikTok presence, monetization, evergreen content, Google Analytics updates, ROI strategies, video storytelling tips, negotiating guidelines, influencer marketing, outsourcing, content creation, luxury travel, and niche marketing.
TBEX Peloponnese highlights included a VIP event hosted by Costa Navarino at the W Costa Navarino, 11 day trips and at least 15 three-day fam trips to destinations in the Peloponnese and Western Greece.

Peloponnese Food Stories
This year’s TBEX Europe welcome party was open and held on one of Kalamata’s main squares coinciding with the city’s Peloponnese Food Stories annual happening offering TBEX Peloponnese participants the chance to sample regional food products and mingle with the locals.

The TBEX Europe 2023 conference came to a spectacular close with a farewell party at a local venue overlooking the city with stunning views to the sea.
Mayor: A chance for travel bloggers to learn about Greece
Commenting on the event, Kalamata Mayor Thanasis Vassilopoulos said the city recognized the importance of travel blogging for the promotion of destinations and added that TBEX participants would have the chance to “enjoy unique experiences, taste excellent quality products, admire cultural and archaeological treasures, learn more about Greek culture”.

“You’ve come to the Peloponnese from many parts of the world and from now on you will be our ambassadors, and we thank you very much for that, because you will contribute so that more people learn about the Peloponnese,” said Regional Governor Panagiotis Nikas.
Kalamata is the second Greek city to host a TBEX conference. Athens hosted the event in 2014. TBEX Europe 2024 will be hosted in San Sebastian Basque Country.
ΤΒΕΧ Europe 2023 was organized by the Peloponnese Region with the support of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), municipalities, regional authorities, tourism and hospitality enterprises, local chambers and hotelier associations, the Peloponnese Tourism Organization (PTO) and the Kalamata Airport, with the sponsorship of over 40 businesses in Greece and abroad.
