Athens City Festival 2023 Launches Open Call for Second Edition
The Development and Destination Management Agency (ADDMA) of the Municipality of Athens is inviting the city’s businesses, associations, collective bodies and institutions that have a focus on culture, entertainment and gastronomy to participate in this year’s Athens City Festival.
Following the success of last year’s festival, which featured over 200 events over 31 days watched by more than 50,000 spectators, the festival’s organizers are seeking to make this year’s celebration even bigger and more inclusive.
The open call is directed to museums, theaters, cinemas and F&B businesses located in Athens, as well as companies that produce theater, film and music performances or organize sports and other events, as well as radio stations and other cultural organizations and institutions.
Proposals must relate to events that will take place from between May 1 to 31 and must align with one of the four pillars of the festival: exhibitions, gastronomy, entertainment, and outdoor events.
Festival organizers note that all events proposed must be organized entirely by the organization submitting the proposal.
Those interested can submit their proposal by February 17 by visiting: https://develop.thisisathens.org/el/aitima-drasis-gia-to-athens-city-festival or contacting the Athens City Festival via telephone (2103312002-3) or email (cityfestival@thisisathens.org.
