BBT Air Becomes General Sales Agent of TUS Airways in Greece
Larnaca-based TUS Airways announced that it has appointed BBT Air-Aviation Services as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Greece.
BBT Air will be responsible for the airline’s sales, development, and overall representation in the Greek market, providing high-end quality services to individual passengers and travel agencies.
“Their experience and knowledge of the local market gives us the confidence that we can further expand our footprint in Greece and that they will represent TUS Airways with the highest standards of service,” the airline’s CEO, Ahmed Aly, said on the appointment of BBT Air-Aviation Services as GSA.
“Greece is a very significant market for TUS Airways,” he added.
BBT Air-Aviation Services is a member of Orancon Group of Companies with a long experience in Greece’s travel and tourism industry. The company’s goal is to play a key role in the local and the international aviation industry and become a game changer in the General Sales Agencies landscape.
“We strongly believe that our expertise will bring maximum results to TUS Airways’ powerful introduction to the Greek market,” BBT Air Commercial Manager Konstantinos Melas said.
TUS Airways is the largest Cypriot airline operating scheduled and charter services since its establishment in 2015. It operates a new fleet of aircraft consisting of modern 180-seat Airbus A320s, aiming to provide better access from Cyprus and neighboring countries in the Eastern Mediterranean.
“With a continuous expanding network, new aircraft, excellent service, competitive prices and a fresh mindset, TUS Airways is here to change the standards of transportation between Greece, Israel, Cyprus and Europe,” Melas added.
In its winter schedule TUS Airways flies from Athens to Tel Aviv with three weekly flights, every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday; and from Heraklion, Crete, to Larnaca with two weekly flights, every Monday and Friday.
Summer 2023
TUS Airways’ schedule for summer 2023 includes:
– flights to Tel Aviv from Athens (three weekly flights, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday); from Heraklion, Crete (two weekly flights, every Monday and Friday); from Preveza / Aktion Airport (four weekly flights, every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday); from Rhodes (two weekly flights, every Tuesday and Saturday); and from Corfu (two weekly flights, every Monday and Friday).
– flights to Larnaca from Heraklion (three weekly flights, every Monday, Friday and Sunday); from Preveza (two weekly flights, every Tuesday and Saturday); from Corfu (every Saturday); from Chania, Crete (every Sunday); and from Kefalonia (every Tuesday).
The flights are available for purchase via the airline’s website, travel agencies and BBT Air’s headquarter office in Athens, which also accepts and handles all group requests.
