AEGEAN – TUI France to Offer Flights from Lille to Greece
Greek carrier AEGEAN and TUI France announced the launch of direct flights from Lille Airport to destinations in Greece under a three-year exclusive deal.
The news was announced during a special ceremony held recently at Lille Airport organized by TUI France, which presented on the occasion its enhanced summer and winter destinations and packages for Greece, Spain, Tunisia, Morocco, Bulgaria, Croatia and Montenegro that will be served exclusively by direct flights on AEGEAN from the airport of Lille. To meet the demand, a new regional base will be set up at Lille Airport in the coming months.
The news comes after last year’s agreement between TUI France and AEGEAN which offered 24 air routes, 12 departure airports, seven destinations and 15 Marmara and Lookéa clubs.

“AEGEAN combines excellent service quality, reliability and a genuine customer-centric culture which is really what we want to offer our passengers. That is why the choice of AEGEAN as our exclusive partner at Lille Airport was self-evident. Greece is our most important and strong market; therefore we could only cooperate with the largest Greek airline,” said TUI France CEO Dirk van Holsbeke.
On his part, AEGEAN International Sales Manager, Pierre‑Emmanuel Duband said the Greek airline was pleased to extend its partnership with TUI France for another three years and to return to Lille Airport.
“We are very pleased to extend our partnership with TUI France for three more years, but also to return to Lille Airport. TUI France and AEGEAN share the same values and the same commitment to high-quality service, which is why we have been working together effectively for more than 20 years, winning the recognition of our travelers,” said Duband.
Expanding its presence in France is a priority for AEGEAN. France is one of Greece’s key source markets.
In 2022, the Greek carrier operated direct links from major cities in France to Athens, Corfu, Heraklion, Kalamata, Mykonos, Rhodes and Thessaloniki, transporting more than 700,000 passengers. At the same time, it also increased seating capacity compared to 2019 by approximately 10 percent.
This summer, AEGEAN aims to offer approximately 1 million seats to meet the strong demand.
