INSETE Launches Digital Tools for Greece’s Tourism Professionals
Greek businesses and professionals active in tourism can now tap into a set of digital tools designed to provide data, guidance and work-related support, announced INSETE.
The digital tools, the result of ongoing study and research, were created by INSETE, the Greek Tourism Confederation’s (SETE) research body and focus on the management of human resources, financial management, quality procedures, sales, marketing and new technologies as well as sustainable tourism development and the enrichment of the tourism product.
The new tools were presented during the Digi Hotel “Digital Transformation – Sustainability – Smart Tools” session held at this year’s Xenia 2022 tourism expo.
INSETE Research Director Aris Ikkos and Director of Learning and Development Yiorgos Koutsokostas presented the new digital tools aimed at facilitating the country’s tourism sector professionals.
Among others, INSETE launched Business Intelligence which provides access to more than 100 web pages with data, indicators and charts based on over 20 different data sources and the Recovery Tracker that monitors the sector’s recovery after Covid-19 while enabling tourism businesses and destinations to monitor sizes in real time.
Koutsokostas also announced the launch in the coming period of the INSETE Toolkit, an innovative digital training tool created around the needs of professionals and smaller-size tourism businesses. The INSETE Toolkit will be free for tourism and hospitality professionals and will feature video tutorials, study manuals and articles focusing on six key sector areas.
