Savoy Hotel in Piraeus Opens with Refurbished Look

The improvement plan of the historic Savoy Hotel in Piraeus is near completion with the property’s common areas, restaurant, lobby and event halls already sporting a new look.

According to the hotel’s new management, the renovation of the rooms is expected to be completed in the near future while a new room category – Superior – has been added to the Savoy’s accommodation offer.

A downtown hotel in Piraeus, Savoy is situated in a privileged location in walking distance from Greece’s main port, the yacht harbor Pasalimani and the Zea Marina.

The hotel’s CEO, Adamantios Christakos, highlights that throughout Savoy’s 45-year history, it has focused on both its business guests and leisure travelers, constantly improving its hospitality services and maintaining its commitment to offer only top quality to its customers.

“At Savoy Hotel, our ambition and priority is to continue to serve the needs of our guests and to be the best value for money option for travelers passing through Piraeus,” the hotel’s CEO, Adamantios Christakos, tells GTP Headlines.

Savoy operates a restaurant with an à la carte menu of Greek and Thai cuisine, complete with inspired appetizers, fresh salads, dishes and mouth-watering desserts.

“Our customer-focused team welcomes our guests, and makes sure they enjoy a unique sense of hospitality, with freshly cooked dishes from our new menu and refreshing beverages, in a clean, attracive and safe space. Our philosophy is that when you take care of your staff, this is reflected in your guests. It’s also why we have a 9.3/10 rating for our staff and are constantly rising in the public’s preferences,” Christakos adds.

The Savoy has two event and conference rooms, which can be transformed into a single large space to accommodate from 30 to 180 persons. Equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual technology, the hotel’s function rooms can serve any type of event (theater, classroom, “u” shape, cocktail, banquet).

The hotel’s refurbished mezzanine bar-foyer can used independently for events and fine dining functions (executive dining, parties, gatherings for associations). Moreover, the hotel has a bistro-café & bar that can be booked for social or business meetings.

The hotel offers free secure WiFi (GDPR compliant) with high speed fiber internet, resulting in ultra fast speed.

Wanting to give a message to visitors, Savoy’s CEo says: “As the hotel’s new management, we pledge that the Savoy Hotel will stay true to its history and will further develop, together with Piraeus, the largest commercial and passenger port in the Mediterranean.”

The Savoy hotel is a three-minute walk from the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus and one kilometer from the Hellenic Maritime Museum.
