Katikies Mykonos Hotel Receives Five-star Award from Forbes Travel Guide

The Katikies Mykonos luxury hotel has received the Five-star Award for 2022 by Forbes Travel Guide (FTG), a prestigious international rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas.

A member of the Leading Hotels of the World, Katikies Mykonos is found in a gorgeous setting, above the beach of Agios Ioannis. Built amphitheatrically with direct sea view, the boutique hotel evokes the island’s Cycladic spirit and cosmopolitan charm in its elegant environs.

The hotel is a member of Katikies, a stunning collection of seven authentic Greek properties located on the islands of Mykonos and Santorini.

“Enduring, quintessential getaway destinations, these islands are brimming with romance, poetry and singular experiences. Katikies hotels were passionately created from the same inspiration,” an announcement by the group said.

Forbes Travel Guide is the world-renowned authority in genuine Five-star service. Its anonymous professional inspectors evaluate based on up to 900 objective standards, with an emphasis on exceptional service, to help discerning travelers select the world’s best luxury experiences.

“Travel has come back strongly, and the resilient hospitality industry is creatively rallying to accommodate the increased occupancy demand for most regions,” said Hermann Elger, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide.

“While the industry faces some lingering issues, the 2022 award winners proved ready for those challenges and more, demonstrating the best that luxury hospitality has to offer,” he added.

The only way for hotels to get a Five-star, Four-star or Recommended rating is by earning it through FTG’s independent inspection process.
