The Greek islands of Milos and Elafonisos are among the most ideal Greek destinations for families, according to Scottish travel blogger and social media influencer, Jenny Eaves.

The content creator and editor of the “Monkey and Mouse” family travel and lifestyle blog, Eaves has some 50,000 followers on Instagram and some 20,000 on Twitter.

A mother of two boys, she traveled to the two Greek islands with her children to attend two press trips organized by the municipalities of Milos and Elafonissos.

Milos: A gem in the Aegean sea

Milos is “a beautiful, curved gem in the Aegean Sea”, Eaves describes the Greek island on her blog.

“The natural beauty of the island and Mediterranean climate make Milos a popular choice of the Cycladic islands to visit,” she says.

Eaves also refers to Milos’ unique beaches, mining history, ancient sites and diverse activities.

The island of Elafonisos is described on the “Monkey and Mouse” blog as a top holiday spot for Greeks.

“Elafonisos island is not as well known to UK tourists as other Greek islands. This may have something to do with its location away from the easily accessible islands closer to Athens. Or the islands that you can fly to easily. Yet it is one of the top holiday spots for Greeks, many Greek people spend their summer,” she says.

Numerous photos of landscapes and select local dishes are included in Eaves’ features.

She also collaborates with major media and organizations such as the Bookings for you, inews, The Telegraph and the Families Central Scotland Magazine. Eaves’ features are actual travel guides that aim to provide information on sites and activities that are pleasant and friendly for children.
