T+L: Greece has 3 of the World’s Best Islands for 2022
The Greek islands of Milos, Paros and Crete are included on Travel + Leisure’s (T+L) “25 Best Islands in the World” list that was recently released as part of the magazine’s World’s Best Awards 2022.
Every year, the World’s Best Awards reveal the top islands, cities, hotels, cruise lines, airports, and more, as voted by the readers of Travel + Leisure.
This year, the magazine’s list features Milos at number four with a score of 92.50/100 points. Paros ranks 12th with a score of 90.62 points, while Crete is in the 22nd place with 89.40 points.
“These three islands appear on the ‘World’s Best Islands’ list thanks to their photogenic beaches, fresh seafood, and ancient sites,” T+L says.
Italy’s Ischia island tops the list with a score of 94.61 points.

Seven Greek islands among Europe’s best
Milos, Paros and Crete are also on T+L’s “20 Best Islands in Europe” list ranking second, third and seventh, respectively.
Four more Greek islands are among Europe’s best according to T+L: Corfu ranks 10th on the list followed by Santorini in the 13th spot, Rhodes in the 19th and Mykonos in the 20th position.
