Wyndham Grand Crete Mirabello Completes Extensive Revamp Project

The Wyndham Grand Crete Mirabello Bay, a beachfront resort in Lasithi on Crete, recently reopened its doors and entered the 2022 season following an extensive renovation project that saw the addition of new luxury facilities and upgraded services.

Owned by Zeus International Hotels & Resorts, the resort has 314 rooms and bungalows ideally designed for families, couples and business travelers with unobstructed sea views, bohemian chic features and colors inspired by the Cretan sea and the lush natural landscape.

Supervised by WeDesign Lab, the  resort’s 60-million-euro investment included the renovation of 100 rooms and the addition of 55 luxurious private and jetted pools. Moreover, 10 more new outdoor hot tubs were added and three new yoga decks overlooking the bay were created.

The investment project also saw the extension of the property’s seafront area that now includes 70 brand new cabanas and a revamped private yacht marina where guests also have access to a selection of water sports such as snorkeling, diving and sailing, exciting sightseeing tours and relaxing fishing trips.

The refurbished resort also offers a wide range of food and beverage outlets, such as four gourmet restaurants, a cozy Greek taverna serving local delicacies, and five bars.

Guests can start their day with a rich breakfast in Amaltheia, the hotel’s central restaurant, while for lunch the hotel’s fine restaurants offer unique gastronomy options for all tastes. Flavors, colors and aromas take guests on a journey to Cretan tradition at the hotel’s Kafeneion restaurant. Visitors can enjoy Italian specialties at the Elia A La Carte restaurant and delicious meat or fish at the Grill House Fish & Meat.

The hotel includes modern sports facilities and features unique services including relaxing treatments at the Mirabello Spa and yoga sessions in an oil grove.

The Wyndham Grand Crete Mirabello Bay also has pottery classes, painting classes and many activities for kids.

A new addition for cinema enthusiasts, is the outdoor cinema, a new area surrounded by trees and flowers, equipped with comfortable chairs so that guests can enjoy watching the weekly scheduled movies under the stars.
