Seajets Links Thessaloniki with Limnos and Lesvos

Seajets, one of Greece’s leading ferry operators, on July 12 will start its itineraries from the port of Thessaloniki to the islands of Limnos and Lesvos in the Aegean sea.

According to an announcement, Seajets will conduct the itinerary on Tuesdays at 7am. The company’s Champion Jet 1 will travel from Thessaloniki to Limnos in 3 hours and 55 minutes, and to Lesvos (Mytilini port) in 6 hours and 45 minutes.

Champion Jet 1 has a capacity of 950 passengers and 180 vehicles.

“These new itineraries further enhance Seajet’s presence in Thessaloniki for a second consecutive year,” the company said.

Seajets is already connecting Thessaloniki with the Sporades islands, offering the chance to travelers from northern Greece and the Balkan countries to travel with a high-speed vessel to the islands of Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonnisos as well as to Evia.

Seajets is also providing multiple traveling options to the Aegean islands through its existing itineraries from Kavala and Lavrio to Limnos, Agios Efstathios and Mesta on Chios, conducted by its Aqua Blue passenger ferry.

Seajets operates 21 vessels and serves 50 ports through over 380 interconnections in the Aegean sea.

Through its itineraries, the company aims to effectively contribute to the promotion of Greek tourism.

It is about time that some itineraries will be available to Thessaloniki and the Balkans in general. Thessaloniki was never given the chance as long as I can remember, to be able to enjoy a vacay to one of the islands without having to go to Athens first, and then regret it all
