Skiathos Palace and Alkyon Hotels Install EV Charging Stations for Guests

The hotels Skiathos Palace and Alkyon, both located on the island of Skiathos, recently installed electric vehicle charging stations to facilitate guests that own electric cars.

According to a joint announcement, the initiative of the two hotels is part of the framework of upgrading the services offered to customers and the need to support the ever-increasing number of visitors who own electric cars.

At the same time, through the investment, the hotels reduce the environmental impact of their operations and support sustainable development in tourism sector.

The EV charging stations are state-of-the-art, with a maximum power of 22kW, and support safe charging for all electric vehicles and fast charging for cars with corresponding specifications.

The stations are included in the EV Loader network. Through the evloader.com website and an easy-to-use smartphone application, hotel guests can charge their electric vehicles in an easy and safe way.

“The two new electric vehicle charging stations upgrade the level of tourist services provided on the island and promote new environmentally friendly technologies,” the hotels said in a joint announcement.
