Tourism Minister Kikilias Begins Promoting Greece to Target Markets – First Stop: Romania
Greek Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias will depart for Romania on Wednesday, May 4, under the ministry’s ‘door to door’ strategy to promote Greece to target markets.
During his stay, the minister will hold a series of meetings with tour operators, Romanian politicians and tourism professionals.
Kikilias’ agenda today includes meetings with tour operators and with the members of the Greece-Romania Friendship Group. A meeting with Romanian Deputy Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism Rus Lucian Ioan will follow in the afternoon. Later in the evening, the minister will attend a working dinner with a delegation of the National Association of Travel Agencies in Romania.
On Thursday, Kikilias will give a series of scheduled interviews to Romanian TV stations and will hold a press conference with local media representatives.
His agenda will include an afternoon visit to the Hellenic-Romanian Chamber of Commerce where he will meet with Greek entrepreneurs in Romania.
