Modus & Amplio Undertakes Management of Rhodes’ Grande Albergo Delle Rose Hotel
Greek hospitality management and consulting company Modus & Amplio has undertaken the management of Rhodes’ emblematic Grande Albergo Delle Rose hotel.
Grande Albergo Delle Rose, which stands for “The Hotel of Roses” in Italian, is a historic hotel of unique architecture and design, constructed between 1925-1927 by Italian governor Mario Lago at a beautiful location near the sea.
Its unmatched service and pioneering amenities were enjoyed by the elite of the time, which included dignitaries of international prominence like Winston Churchill, Aristotle Onassis, etc.
Grand and majestic, it is a mixture of Byzantine, Arabic and Venetian architecture, and a point of reference in the field of hospitality on the Greek island of Rhodes and the Eastern Mediterranean.
The establishment underwent a major renovation in 2002, and was modified to a five-star boutique hotel comprising 33 luxurious suites, each decorated with its distinct style.
For two decades, it was used to accommodate the VIP clients of the famous Casino of Rhodes.
“Under the management of Modus & Amplio and the experience of Hotel Manager Despina Latifi, Grande Albergo Delle Rose is ready to enter a new dynamic phase,” an announcement said.
The hotel features 33 suites overlooking the sea or the garden, a butler service, three restaurants, a swimming pool, a conference room and the unique Historic Hammam & Spa.
“It addresses the discerning travelers who want to enrich their stay with special experiences, and will find in this exceptional accommodation with a strong historical aura and discreet luxury, the ideal choice.”
