Tender for Itea Marina Launched by Greek State Privatization Fund
The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) has launched a tender for the development of the Itea marina, located in Phocis, central Greece.
Aiming to stimulate growth and improve tourism infrastructure, HRADF has launched the international tender process for the concession of port operation services (berthing and other services) and the right to use and manage the marina of Itea for a period of 40 years with the option of an extension of the concession duration for a maximum additional period of 10 years.
HRADF’s tender process will be conducted in two phases: a pre-qualification phase and a binding offers phase.
Interested parties are invited to submit their expression of interest no later than March 15.
The sea area of the Itea Marina extends to a surface of approximately 26,000sq.m. and can accommodate 146 yachts of small and medium-size.
There is also a dry-docking area of 60 yachts. The upland area of the Itea marina covers an area of approximately 24,700sq.m.
Today, the marina of Itea accommodates a small number of yachts.
According to HRADF, its development and operation is expected to highlight the unique characteristics of the area and make Itea a reference location for yachting tourism development.
