Grande Bretagne-King George Management Holds Holiday Party for the Press
The management of the Grande Bretagne and King George hotels in Athens recently held its traditional holiday lunch gathering for journalists covering tourism, gastronomy and lifestyle news.
Held at the Tudor Hall Restaurant in the luxurious King George hotel, journalists enjoyed the festive atmosphere and got to meet the hotels’ new general manager Hom Parviz.
An executive with a long experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Hom Parviz took over as general manager of both the Grande Bretagne and King George hotels in October 2020 after serving as the GM at the Hyatt Regency Belgrade in Serbia since 2012.
“Truly, it’s a wonderful pleasure for us to be able to get together on this occasion,” Parviz said while speaking during the event.
It is reminded that the hotels’ traditional holiday lunch for members of the press did not take place last December due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
“In general you are the voice of our hotels and I am personally very grateful for this collaboration and partnership and look forward for us to continue… On behalf of all of us here at the complex of the hotel Grande Bretagne and King George we wish you a wonderful, healthy, safe and joyous New Year,” Parviz told the journalists.
Grande Bretagne’s and King George’s holiday lunch event for journalists was attended by Lampsa Hellenic Hotels CEO Tasos Homenidis, Sheraton Rhodes Resort General Manager Grigoris Liasidis, Marriott International Complex Hotel Manager for Hotel Grande Bretagne and King George Anneta Svoronou and Hotel Grande Bretagne & King George PR & Operations Executive Maria Koutzabasi.
The Grande Bretagne and King George hotels are owned by Lampsa Hellenic Hotels of the Laskaridis Group. Actively involved in the Greek tourism sector, Lampsa’s portfolio also includes the Athens Capital Hotel–MGallery, the Sheraton Rhodes Resort, the Belgrade’s Hyatt Regency and Mercure Excelsior.
