Hyatt to Open New Hotel on Greece’s Popular Santorini Island

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans to open seven new luxury hotels and resorts throughout the Middle East and Europe, including in Greece.

This is in addition to the 24 previously announced luxury hotels within Hyatt’s luxury portfolio globally, that are slated to open by 2023.

The hotels and resorts set to join the Alila, Andaz, Destination by Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Park Hyatt, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, and Thompson Hotels brands are expected to exceed the expectations of the luxury traveler, delivering personalized and engaged service, story-worthy experiences and world-class offerings.

The newly announced projects are located throughout Europe and the Middle East and have been carefully selected to complement Hyatt’s elevated, luxury portfolio.

Among Hyatt’s new ventures is the Magma Resort Santorini, a part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, expected to open on the popular Greek island of Santorini in mid-2022.

The 59-room resort will be nestled among traditional old vineyards and located on the lava-made slopes of Vourvoulos where guests will be able to enjoy stunning Santorini sunsets.

Thompson Madrid, Spain

In addition, the following six hotels and resorts are set to open from 2022-2025 in various destinations:

– 7Pines Resort Sardinia, part of the Destination by Hyatt brand (expected to open in mid-2022)
– Thompson Madrid (expected to open in mid-2022)
– Andaz Doha  (expected to open in late 2022)
– Alila Lanzarote (expected to open in 2025)
– Grand Hyatt Lanzarote (expected to open in 2025)
– Park Hyatt Riyadh Diriyah Gate (expected to open in 2025).
