Zeus International Expands Hospitality Activity to Halkidiki, Northern Greece

The Zeus International Group has undertaken the management of a new hospitality project in the area of Sithonia in Halkidiki, as part of its efforts to further expand its activities in northern Greece.

The project foresees the development of a new luxury hotel that will open its doors in May 2022 and provide upscale hospitality services to guests.

“This new ultra luxury hotel unit, combined with the unique natural beauty of Halkidiki, will become a significant tourism hub for the wider region of northern Greece offering new job opportunities and synergies with local communities,” Zeus International Group President and CEO Haris Siganos said.

Owned by the Mendekidis Group, the hotel complex will feature simple, modern minimalistic architecture with special details on the facade as well as in the interior areas, in line with the beauty and simplicity of the natural landscape.

Located on the beach of Aghios Ioannis, the hotel will feature 179 rooms, with a capacity of 500 beds. Sixty five rooms will come with their own private pool.

Developed in an area of 65 acres, the hotel will also include three restaurants and two bars; swimming pools; a wellness & spa centre; a variety of sports facilities; and a mini club for children.

Once construction works are completed, the hotel will also feature conference and event venues with a capacity of up to 300 persons in its indoor premises and up to 2,500 persons in the outdoor areas.

The architectural study of the new hotel project was conducted by Neni Spartsi, designer of some of the award-winning hotels included in the portfolio of Zeus International in Greece and abroad.
