No Ferry Services in Greece Due to 48-hour Seamen Strike

Ferries will stay docked at ports across Greece during November 10-12 after Pan-Hellenic Seamen’s Federation (PNO) announced a 48-hour strike.

According to an announcement, the umbrella union of Greek seamen are demanding a revised collective labor agreement with pay raises.

The strike is scheduled to start from 6:01 am on Wednesday, November 10 and run until 6 am on Friday, November 12.

PNO warned that the ferry strike may be extended.

Travelers who have booked ferry tickets for November 10-12 are advised to check with their travel agents or contact local port authorities for further information.
