Grace Hotel Santorini Named Top Resort in Greece and Europe by T+L

Grace Hotel, Auberge Resorts Collection

Santorini’s Grace Hotel, Auberge Resorts Collection has been recognized as the Best Hotel Resort in Europe and in Greece at the 2021 World’s Best Awards, recently released by Travel + Leisure (T+L).

The resort topped T+L’s lists of the “Top 15 European Resort Hotels” and “Top 10 Greece Resort Hotels”.

Furthermore, the resort ranked 6th among 100 hotels on T+L’s “Top 100 Hotels in the World” list.

The annual awards are given to winners following an extensive reader survey conducted by T+L every year to recognize the best hotels.

It is also among the most respected reader polls in the travel industry.

“Can’t be more honored and thrilled to achieve such an accolade and be named the No. 1 Resort Hotel in Europe and in Greece,” said George Avgoustis, general manager of Grace Hotel Santorini.

“Climbing to the top during this challenging year is nothing but a tribute to the Grace Hotel team, whose hard work, deeply personalized level of services and authentic hospitality is creating enriching one-of-a-kind experiences. The exciting news arrived a few weeks after ARC announced the second property in Europe, showing the brand’s expansion in Europe,” he added.

Auberge Resorts Collection’s first European property, the 21-room Grace Hotel Santorini is an intimate cliff-top sanctuary marked by whitewashed abodes, with views of cobalt-domed churches, and black- and red-sand beaches on the Greek isle of Santorini.

Moving up from the last spot on last year’s list, this cliff-top retreat on the quieter side of Santorini captured readers’ hearts in a big way.

The stunning white-washed resort offers sweeping views of both the Aegean Sea and the surrounding blue and white buildings. Elegant rooms echo the color scheme, which gives a seamless look and feel to the resort.

The minimalism continues throughout the modern restaurant, fitness center, and outdoor spaces, with only the massive infinity pool diverting attention from the sea.
