Greece has been placed on the Covid-19 orange list of Cyprus’ colour-coded country categorization travel system, based on a new epidemiological risk assessment of countries. The new changes come into force Thursday, July 15.
According to the health authorities in Cyprus, travelers who visit Cyprus from orange category countries are required to have taken a PCR laboratory test within 72 hours prior to departure and must have a certificate showing their negative result.
Travelers should attach their negative test result to their CyprusFlightPass (submission within 48 hours before the departure time for Cyprus).
Orange category countries are destinations with possibly low risk but greater uncertainty compared to the green category. Greece was previously on Cyprus’ green list (low risk countries).
Other countries on Cyprus’ orange list are Ireland, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium.
It is reminded that regardless of a country’s color category, all passengers are obliged to file an application for a CyprusFlightPass within 48 hours prior to their departure flight.
Cyprus’ categorization of countries, based on the epidemiological risk assessment is extremely dynamic and may be modified at any moment as the pandemic evolves and the epidemiological data changes.
