WTTC Appoints George Tziallas as Regional Director for Europe and North Africa

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), the body which represents the Travel & Tourism private sector globally, has appointed George Tziallas as Regional Director for Europe and North Africa.

With some 30 years of professional experience in management consulting and development projects, Tziallas is a technical tourism consultant at the Region of North Aegean.

He has previously served as Secretary General at the Greek Tourism Ministry and as a tourism expert on digital transformation and investments at the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

“I am very happy to take up the position of Regional Director at the WTTC and in fact for a very wide geographical area. It is a special honor for me to take up this position and at the same time recognize my work during my professional involvement with tourism. Of course, from this position, I will support the promotion of our country and our tourism at the international level,” Tziallas said in a statement.
