Greece Imposes Stricter Entry Rules for Arrivals from Russia
The Greek government has decided to impose stricter measures for those arriving to Greece from Russia due to the spread of the Delta coronavirus variant in the country.
According to an announcement by the Greek Tourism Ministry on Sunday, all travelers from Russia arriving in Greece from June 30must present a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours before travel or a negative rapid antigen test performed within 48 hours before travel.
The measure is mandatory and applies to all travelers from Russia, whether they are vaccinated or not.

The ministry said the decision to modify the arrival rules for Russia is based on the health safety of tourists, employees in the Greek tourism sector and residents.
The new rule for Russian arrivals has been added to the updated Covid-19 aviation directives concerning international arrivals that were announced on Saturday.
