MarBella Collection Welcomes Summer with ‘Greek Chefs Abroad’ Culinary Series
The MarBella Collection hotels this summer will host their first culinary pop-up events with the participation of renowned Greek chefs from abroad.
Titled “Greek Chefs Abroad: A Culinary Series”, the events will take place at the “San Giovanni” restaurant located within the premises of the adults-only MarBella Nido Boutique Hotel on Corfu, and at the Pearl Fine Dining restaurant located in MarBella Elix, the group’s newest addition on the beach of Karavostasi in Thesprotia.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy authentic Greek and Mediterranean menus focusing on local products with a special international twist.
From July until September, the lineup of “Greek chefs abroad” will include MasterChef 2019 UK winner Irini Tzortzoglou and renowned Greek Chef Giannis Kioroglou.

- Giannis Kioroglou
Inspired by their birthplace, the chefs will present a modern aspect of Greek cuisine.
Their menus will be based on the 100-mile diet, a culinary movement initiated in Vancouver, Canada, that is advising people to consume food produced within a 100-mile radius from their residence. This diet leaves a smaller footprint on the environment and allows people to harmonically co-exist with nature.
The guests of Marbella Nido, on July 2 will have the opportunity to enjoy a five-course menu by Irini Tzortzoglou combined with select wines.
On July 4, Irini will cook for the guests of MarBella Elix.
Later in September, Greek chef Giannis Kioroglou will present two different five-course menus at the MarBella Nido and Elix in collaboration with the group’s executive chefs.
His culinary creations will be available from September 10-12.
Active for over 50 years in high-quality hospitality, the MarBella Collection group operates the MarBella Corfu Hotel – awarded twice with the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Award, the adults-only MarBella Nido Suite Hotel & Villas, which is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World member, while this year it has welcomed the MarBella Elix.
