Ypseli Anafi’s Hive Hotel Getting Ready to Reopen for Summer 2021

Ypseli Anafi’s Hive

The Ypseli Anafi’s Hive, a luxury hospitality property located on the Greek island of Anafi, is preparing to reopen its doors and welcome Greek and international travelers for the summer season.

The hotel will reopen on June 17.

Located in the village of Roukounas, Ypseli Anafi’s Hive overlooks the Aegean sea. Its unique design is based on the Cycladic architecture and the unique style of the Anafi builders, who are considered as Greece’s best.

The property’s name aims to describe the unique hospitality experiences offered, as the word “ypseli” is used by the locals instead of the word “kypseli” which in Greek means hive.

“This name symbolizes the progress, effort, cooperation, coordination and production of an invaluable nutritious ingredient [honey], which is also one of nature’s sweetest flavors… We encourage travelers to enjoy Anafi, ‘taste’ the island, experience our hospitality,” the hotel’s management said.

Stylish accommodation

Ypseli Anafi’s Hive offers eight stylish suites that can accommodate up to six persons. The name of each suite is inspired by the hive community.

All suites include a kitchen with a mini-bar, a kettle, a sink and a Nespresso espresso machine. Their distinctive decoration is completed with luxury amenities.

Ypseli Anafi’s Hive also offers its guests traditional breakfast that consists of local recipes and ingredients.

Furthermore, visitors can enjoy the stunning views of the Aegean sea from the property’s pool.

The umbrellas surrounding the pool are made of natural materials and create a thick shade, offering visitors the opportunity to relax and enjoy a drink or a light snack from Ypseli’s poolbar.

The property has been certified with the Health First seal for implementing the latest health protocols and measures announced by Greek authorities for Covid-19.

Anafi is a small island located east of Santorini in the southern Aegean. Ypseli is located on the south side of the island, around 2.5km away from Chora and 4km from the port.
