ActiveMedia received the highest distinction – the Platinum Award – in the “Advertising Campaign & Media Promotion” category for the Navarino Challenge sports tourism event.
“During a difficult year due to the pandemic, the top sports event was promoted through an innovative campaign that ran with the aim to inform the public about the safety measures undertaken and the educational, recreational and experiential activities added,” ActiveMedia said in an announcement.
For the same event, ActiveMedia won the Silver Award in the “Travel Show” category for its highly successful collaboration with award-winning Greek-American Chef Diane Kochilas and reknown Greek-American ultra-marathon runner Dean (Constantine) Karnazes. Through these two collaborations ActiveMedia highlighted Mediterranean diet and promoted Messinia and Costa Navarino as the ideal health and wellness tourism destination.
In addition, the company won a total of five awards for the Authentic Marathon Swim sports cultural tourism event, that was organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Istiaia-Edipsos.
More specifically, ActiveMedia won two Silver Awards for its “Guest – Staff Protection” strategy against Covid-19, and its “Integrated Communications Campaign”.
It also received three Bronze Awards in the “Sports Tourism”, “Interconnection of tourism with other sectors of the Greek economy” and “Technology enhanced experience” categories, for the technology solutions used to improve the travel experience.
