Varmy Hotel Promises Guests a Safe Stay on Crete

The Varmy Hotel has opened its doors and is welcoming guests to a safe environment in Ierapetra on the island of Crete.

The hotel consists of 15 fully refurbished apartments offering comfort and modern amenities to travelers. The hotel also features a Roof Garden on the top floor and a Snack Bar on the ground floor.

Health first

To protect its guests and staff from the spread of the coronavirus, Varmy Hotel has adopted the latest health protocols announced by Greek authorities.

More specifically, the hotel has implemented the following measures:

– All rooms and public areas were disinfected by a certified company before the hotel’s reopening.
– Plexiglass dividers have been installed at the reception.
– Its staff has been trained on protection and prevention as well as on handling Covid -19 cases.
– A special coordinator has been appointed to ensure the implementation of its Covid -19 action plan.
– Frequent ventilation of all areas.
– Check-in at 3pm and check-out at 11am to perform meticulous disinfection.
– Online check-in and check-out is also available.

– All rooms are thoroughly disinfected with a steam cleaner after the departure of guests.
– Frequent disinfection of all public areas (reception desk, bar, elevator).
– Washing of bedding and towels in high temperature.
– Covering all remote controls with membrane that is changed before new guests check in.
– Use of personal protective equipment by the hotel’s staff (masks, gloves).
– Use of packaged goods for breakfast and room service only.
– Disinfectants (antiseptics) are available in public areas.
– Entrance is not allowed to non-hotel guests.
– Social distancing measures are maintained during check-in /check-out.
– The hotel keeps temporary records of its guests and is collaborating with a doctor to handle possible Covid-19 cases.

Varmy Hotel is located only 50 meters away from the beach and 10 minutes by foot from the center of Ierapetra.
