Vaccinated travelers using ferries to visit the Greek islands will not be required to take Covid-19 tests before boarding, announced Greece’s Shipping Minister Yiannis Plakiotakis on Wednesday.

Plakiotakis went on to add that (from June 3) passengers can now fill out the special pre-boarding health form online, which will ensure faster and smoother boarding times.

The health form indicates among other personal information, PCR results of tests taken 72 hours ahead of travel; rapid test or self-test results conducted 24 hours before travel; or completed Covid-19 vaccination (both doses).

Speaking on public broadcaster ERT TV on Wednesday, Plakiotakis said that all travelers should before boarding present either a vaccination certificate or a negative rapid or PCR test result as well as the completed health form which may be filled in online (printed forms are also accepted).
