Athens’ Titania Hotel Preparing to Reopen its Doors
The Greek capital’s historic Titania Hotel, located near the center of Athens, is preparing to reopen its doors and receive its first guests from June 1.
The hotel has 385 rooms of all types – standard, family, superior, executive, junior suites and deluxe suites – and a conference center with multipurpose rooms.
Apart from prime accommodation, Titania also offers unique dining experiences at its Olive Garden bar & restaurant, as well as amazing views extending from the Lycabettus Hill and the Acropolis to the Saronic gulf.
Health first
Titania will operate under the strictest safety protocols to ensure the health and wellbeing of its guests and employees.
According to an announcement by the hotel’s management, additional measures have been implemented that meet the Health First requirements, as well as new travel standards so that guests can enjoy a safe and comfortable environment.
The hotel has been certified with the “Safe Restart” label by TÜVHELLAS (TÜVNORD) to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
“Our enhanced cleaning protocols ensure the disinfection of all guest rooms and frequently touched areas for guests and employees. We are using approved, user-friendly cleaning products and protocols according to Diversey’s ‘Well hotel’ program, that are effective against viruses,” Titania Hotel Managing Director Georgios Papazoglou said.
Titania Hotel is located only a few steps away from the recently renovated Omonia square and its metro station. Furthermore, the city’s shopping district starts right outside the hotel’s front door.
