Athens’ First Live Event of the Year: 20th Technopolis Jazz Festival
The Greek capital will soon host the 20th Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival (ATJF), the first live event of the summer.
Following the Greek government’s decision to restart culture and allow live events, the Athens Municipality has announced new dates for the annual jazz event, which will now take place in a hybrid form at the City of Athens Technopolis in Gazi between May 28-30.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the festival will host 16 music bands from 10 countries. It will include five live shows and nine pre-recorded sessions that will broadcast live on big screens in the Technopolis central courtyard.
The Technopolis venue will welcome the festival’s friends to its premises for a second year under Greece’s official health protocols and regulations. Spectators will be seated in the venue’s numbered seats that will set in accordance with the social distancing rules.
Those who wish to attend the live sessions must book their seats in advance at viva.gr.
