Brown Hotels is planning to open seven new hospitality properties in Greece this summer, the Israel-based hotel chain announced during a recent press event in Tel Aviv.

Ahead of the opening of Greece’s tourism season, and the opening of Brown Acropol last year, Brown is launching 6 new hotels in Athens and a family resort on a pristine beach in Corinthia.

More specifically, during May the chain will open the doors to the Brown Acropol and DAVE Red Athens at Omonia Square and the new Villa Brown Ermou at Syntagma Square.

Following this, Lighthouse Athens, Brown Spices, Theodore House and House Sans Rival, will open the following months in the Greek capital.

During the summer, Brown Hotels will launch its first resort in Greece – the Brown Beach Corinthia – in Agious Theodorous in Loutraki, aiming to provide experiential richness and entertainment for families, couples and young travellers.

In addition, the group plans to open more than 20 other hotels and resorts that are in various stages of construction and development. Upon completion, the group will hold approximately 2,100 rooms throughout Greece and the islands and in Cyprus.

According to Brown Hotels, the group is ready to host Israeli tourists and offer the experience of Greek hospitality – “the Brown way”, through its hotels.

It is noted that Greece has lifted its quarantine rule for travelers from the EU and five other countries – including Israel – who have been fully vaccinated or tested negative for Covid-19.

Greece’s tourism season will officially open on May 14.
