The freerunning event with be held with the participation of 18 top athletes, who will show their skills on the decks of two impressive sailing boats.

Information for freerunners: How to join

There are two ways for athletes to join the competition. The first requires athletes to join the Online Qualifier by submitting a 90-second freerunning video before May 20, which showcases skill and technique in a bid to impress the judges, who will base their criteria on execution, flow, technical difficulty, creativity and overall performance.

The second way is for athletes to take part in the Onsite Qualifier – which is open to everyone – to be held on July 7, at Alexandra Square in Piraeus. The 20 winners of the first phase will compete in the second phase on the same day.

The grand final will take place in Mikrolimano on July 10, with three finalists of the Red Bull Art of Motion 2019 event that took place in Matera, Italy; the 12 winners (6 men and 6 women) of the Online Qualifier and three freerunners of the Onsite Qualifier.
