The Telegraph Highlights 15 ‘Perfect’ Greek Islands for post-Covid Travel
UK daily newspaper The Telegraph recently highlighted 15 Greek islands as the “perfect” destinations for post-Covid-19 travel.
Titled “Which is the perfect Greek island? Here are 15 of our favorites”, the article was published in The Telegraph’s online edition and includes a list of 15 popular Greek islands located in the Aegean and Ionian seas.
The list includes Zaynthos, Corfu, Delos, Mykonos, Crete, Koufonissia, Tinos, Andros, Symi, Skyros, Skopelos and Santorini, among others.
The article proposes Zakynthos for its enchanting beaches; Corfu as an ideal destination for families; Delos for its history; Mykonos for its distinctive hotels; Crete for food lovers; the Koufonissia complex for peace and serenity; Tinos for its unique landscape; Skyros as “best for the mind”; Skopelos for its villas and monasteries, and Karpathos for its traditional island life.
In addition, Andros is singled out as the best Greek island for hiking; Symi is a suggested destination for couples; Santorini is highlighted for its unique views; Rhodes is considered ideal for nightlife and Lefkada is proposed for its sports activities.
Dear GTP
We are planning two trips to Greece (both cancelled two years in a row) so the article highlighting 15 islands recommended by the Guardian caught my eye. Why didn’t you highlight all of them?
Which ones did you leave out?
Hello Rick.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Karpathos was accidentally left out of our mention of The Telegraph’s selection. The island has now been added.
