Alltours: Allsun Hotel Chain to Request Vaccination Certificate in the Fall
Allsun, a hotel chain belonging to German tour operator alltours, has announced that in the future, its guests will be required to present a Covid-19 vaccination certificate before check in.
Depending on the course of vaccinations, the new policy is expected to be implemented as of October 31.
“We want to offer all our guests the highest possible level of safety so that they can enjoy their vacation,” alltours owner Willi Verhuven said in a company announcement.
Allsun operates 35 hotels that are located in Greece, on Mallorca and the Canary Islands.
“We assume that in the near future – maybe at Easter – a safe holiday will be possible again in many countries,” Verhuven added.
In the meantime, allsun is asking its guests to present a negative PCR or antigen test conducted up to 48 hours before check in.
The German group also said that its hotel employees should be vaccinated as soon as possible. Until then, employees with direct customer contact will be tested for Covid-19 on a daily basis.
Alltours is one of the five largest tour operators in Germany and one of the top ten in Europe.
