Free Cancer Screenings at Athens’ Municipal Clinics
On the occasion of World Cancer Day, celebrated on February 4, the Municipality of Athens is offering free medical screenings at its health clinics across the Greek capital.
To be carried out between February 3-5, the municipality’s action plan aims to inform and protect citizens as well as raise awareness on prevention measures against cancer.
All Municipal Clinics apply strict health protocols including temperature checks prior to entry, use of masks and gloves, and social distancing.
Furthermore, citizens that wish to undergo free cancer screening tests must book an appointment via telephone at the following clinics:

In addition, the municipality on February 4 at 5pm will hold a webinar with the participation of experts and doctors who will analyze issues related to the disease and its psychological footprint. The webinar has no cost and can be seen here.
The initiative is the result of a collaboration between the City of Athens Department of Municipal Clinics & Public Health and the Hellenic Cancer Society.
