CNT Places Athens Among Friendliest Cities in Europe
Condé Nast Traveller (CNT) has placed Athens among the 10 Friendliest Cities in Europe with the most smiling, welcoming people, based on the results of its Readers’ Choice Awards for 2020.
“While Europe’s best cities are often judged on their ancient history, intricate architecture, unrivalled art scene or amazing restaurants, sometimes what makes a place so great are its people,” CNT says.
Athens ranks ninth on the list with a score of 92.32 among other popular European cities such as Bologna, Spain; Lisbon, Portugal; and Valetta, Malta.
Galway in Ireland topped the list with a score of 97.33.
