Greek hotel company Anatolia Hospitality has appointed Anestis Michaloudis as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

A highly experienced executive who has held several leading positions for more than 20 years, Anestis has a proven track record in hotel operations and new hotel openings.

“We are thrilled to welcome Anestis to the Anatolia Hospitality family. Having worked at major international brands and bringing many years’ hospitality-industry experience, Anestis will play an instrumental role in growing the Anatolia Hospitality footprint and leading the Group’s new era,” Anatolia Hospitality CEO Michael Chrysochoidis told GTP Headlines.

Having worked for various prestigious hotels including the Costa Navarino complex, Le Meridien Phuket Thailand, Le Meridien Cairo, JW Marriott Juhu Mumbai and Sheraton Grand Warsaw, Anestis is confident that along with his team, he will make a meaningful contribution to Anatolia Hospitality’s business growth.

In his role as COO, Anestis’ responsibilities include the supervision of Anatolia’s business units; the design and implementation of business strategies, plans and procedures for the group; and the establishment of policies that promote the group’s culture and vision. Anestis will also oversee the daily operations of the company and the work of executives.

“My appointment as the new Chief Operating Officer is a new and thrilling challenge for me. I look forward to working closely with Anatolia Hospitality and the opportunity that lies ahead,” Anestis told GTP Headlines.Counting some 90 years in the tourism field, Anatolia Hospitality currently has two fully renovated privately-owned Anatolia Hotels in Thessaloniki and Komotini. In Thessaloniki, the new five-star ONOMA Hotel, which offers fully personalized services, is expected to open in the coming months. The group manages villas and luxury apartments on Mykonos (Senses Villas & Suites, Villa Petrolefko) and a luxury villa on Lefkada (Villa Veneziano). Since 2013, the group also operates the ASIT tourism agency.

The vision of the company’s CEO is to further develop the company’s three main brands – ONOMA, Anatolia Hotels and Anatolia Villas – through new agreements for the management of hotels and villas, as well as the lease or acquisition of new properties in Greece and abroad.
