Greece Extends Teleworking Covid-19 Measure in Attica

The Greek Labor Ministry on Thursday announced the extension of the measure of mandatory teleworking for employees of the private sector in the wider Athens area of Attica.

The measure, which aims to decongest public transportation and crowding in the workplace, has been extended until October 31 to curb the further spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) in areas in Attica.

The ministry has also extended the measure of staggering the hours of arrival and departure to and from workplaces in Attica. The measure sees private sector employees arrive and depart from work in four groups, with half hour intervals and within two hours from their agreed (by contract) arrival and departure time.

The measure, which has also been extended until October 31, aims to avoid crowding in the workplace.
