French Film ‘On sourit pour la photo’ Wraps Up Production in Greece
French movie production “On sourit pour la photo” recently finished filming in Greece with the support of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
The foreign production crew filmed in various locations in Athens, the Athenian Riviera and the nearby island of Aegina.
“I am happy that such an important film production has been completed. We see such collaborations as the best way to promote our country internationally. For GNTO, synergies in large productions with an impact abroad are a priority and we will continue to support similar projects in the future,” GNTO Secretary General Dimitris Fragakis said.
It is reminded that Fragakis, in June had met with executives of the French production to finalize the details of their collaboration.
While filming in Greece, the actors of the French film had the opportunity visit significant sites and monuments in Attica and Aegina, and enjoy Greek hospitality and gastronomy.
“The experience of shooting in Greece was truly unforgettable! We were lucky to work in a place of such history and amazing nature… We look forward to sharing the images of this beautiful country with the French spectators,” director François Uzan said.
“On sourit pour la photo” is a co-production of Radar Films, Unagi Productions and Blonde Productions, starring Jacques Gamblin, Pascale Arbillot, Pablo Pauly, Agnès Hurstel and youtuber Ludovik. The movie focuses on a man who tries to save his marriage by taking a family trip to Greece to “relive” a 1998 holiday taken in the country.
It will premiere at cinema theaters in 2021.
