The Greek Environment Ministry and the Athanasios K. Laskaridis Foundation are inviting civil society organizations, citizens and enterprises to submit proposals for a “Greece without single-use plastics”.

The recently launched campaign aims to mobilize all citizens and raise awareness on the protection of the environment and the elimination of single-use plastics in Greece.

The ministry is calling for the submission of self-funded ideas that will promote reusing practices and the replacement of single-use plastics with alternative new materials.

The selected projects will be included in Greece’s national action plan for single-use plastics, as well as in the ongoing campaign and the dedicated platform for a “Greece without single-use plastics”. In addition, these ideas will be promoted through social media.

Those interested can send their proposals to sup@prv.ypeka.gr until May 30, 2021.
