In-room Tablets: SuitePad Brings Hotelier-Guest Digital Communication to New Level

SuitePad, a leading provider of digital communication systems, is enabling hoteliers to provide top-quality hotel experiences for their guests while still following the regulations implemented as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

As the global pandemic has exposed how fragile the hotel industry is in its current state, SuitePad underlines that digital technology now offers a lifeline in troubling times.

“In an ideal world, hotel guests would receive the great face-to-face interaction that they expect from a hotel, but as the current situation means this isn’t always available, hoteliers need to find innovative solutions,” according to SuitePad, which offers a centralized service that brings digital communication between hoteliers and their guests to a whole new level.

In-room tablets

SuitePad’s in-room tablets serve as central booking tools for services like hotel restaurants, shops, and spas, and can be integrated with an in-room telephone and TV remote – effectively decluttering the hotel room and providing a modern experience for guests.

Over 1,000 hotels and hotel chains in 30 countries are already working with SuitePad. Among them is the Avaton Luxury Villas Resort in Chalkidiki, Northern Greece.

A member of Relais & Châteaux, the Avaton Luxury Hotel & Villas aims to increase guest communication in order to personalize its services and exceed guest expectation.

According to the hotel’s owner and general manager, Natalia Chantzi, through the use of SuitePad tablets, the Avaton Luxury Hotel & Villas managed to anticipate guest needs.

“Since starting to use them we have noticed that 30 percent of our room service orders take place through the tablets. The contemporary guest wants to make orders from the convenience of their bed or private pool while relaxing without having to speak on the phone while holding a menu, flipping pages. With SuitePad tablets guests can discover a whole world of activities, excursions, and experiences by letting us know about their preferences with a touch of a button,” Chantzi said.
