Metaxa Group’s Hotels Receive Safety and Quality Certifications
The hotels of the Metaxa Hospitality Group have been certified by leading international organizations for the safety standards and quality services offered to their guests.
According to an announcement, the five-star Creta Maris Beach Resort, located in Heraklion, Crete, and the Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa on Santorini, were recently certified with TÜV Austria’s “CoVid Shield” seal.
TÜV Austria offers the CoVid-Shield certification scheme to businesses restarting their activity following the Covid-19 lockdown. Meanwhile, the group’s five-star TUI Magic Life Candia Maris on Crete, recently received the “POSICheck – Covid 19” certification from Cristal International Standards, an exclusive partner of TUI. This certification classifies the hotel in the “low risk premises”category.
“Amid difficult times, we are doing everything in our power to make everyone feel safe. This is why we have been working with leading international independent companies. The certifications of TÜV Austria and Cristal International Standards confirm the safe, high-quality services we offer,” said the group’s CEO Andreas Metaxas.
The Metaxa Hospitality Group has implemented the health protocols of international and Greek organizations since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. All its hotels have adopted the Health First certification of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, while its staff has received special training in collaboration with the Medical School of the University of Crete.
