Greece Stops Flights from Barcelona
Greece is temporarily banning all passenger flights arriving from Barcelona and the wider region of Catalonia, Greek Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management Nikos Hardalias said on Friday.
The measure will be put into effect as of Monday, August 31 at midnight. It has been taken to protect public health from the further spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Hardalias also said Greece was extending travel restrictions for foreign visitors until September 19. This includes requesting travelers from a list of countries – including Bulgaria, Romania, Malta, Spain, Albania, North Macedonia and the United Arab Emirates – to present a negative Covid-19 test before entering the country.
Due to improved epidemiological data, The Netherlands will be removed from the list, Hardalias said.
On Friday, Greece reported 270 new coronavirus cases. The country has thus far recorded 9,800 Covid-19 infections and 259 deaths.
Hello!! So we do NOT need a negative test anymore transitting through Holland??? ( we are flying from Denmark… )

Yes, unless you are able to do a roadside test and accuretly determine what kind of flowers the police are holding with your eyes closed
This is correct. Travelers from Sweden as well as from Belgium are still obliged to show a negative Covid-19 test. Thank you for your comment!
Hi,
I think Sweden is included in the list whith Malta, Bulgaria, etc, to show negative Covid-19 test. Right?!
