Outdoor Campaign Showing the ‘Endless Greek Summer’ Continues
The “Endless Greek Summer” outdoor campaign continues to “spread Greece” around the country’s international airports and via public transport in Athens.
Launched by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), the campaign presents the unique features of Greek summer at target points to attract both the attention of Greeks and foreigners.
Running for two months, the campaign shows Greece through photos and messages on the screens of Athens International Airport and the country’s 14 regional airports; on 50 buses and 30 trolley buses in Athens and its suburbs; and on 250 select bus stops throughout Attica.
“Part of our outdoor campaign at airports and public transport aims to stimulate domestic travel… On the other hand, photos and video screenings at Greece’s airports aim to welcome international visitors and enhance the country’s image as a safe destination,” GNTO Secretary General Dimitris Fragakis said.
The organization plans to undertake new initiatives to support Greek tourism during these challenging times.
Moreover, the video “Destination Greece, Health First” is screened at airports, offering information on the health protocols implemented in Greece to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
