Marbella Corfu Hotel Accredited with TÜV AUSTRIA CoVid-Shield

The five-star Marbella Corfu Hotel has been accredited by TÜV Austria with the CoVid-Shield “Principal” rating for its “We Care” Health & Safety Protocol.

A member of the MarBella Collection hospitality group, the luxury Marbella Corfu Hotel is located on the beautiful southeast coast of the Greek island of Corfu, overlooking the Ionian Sea.

Following Greece’s lockdown due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the hotel reopened under the group’s new “We Care” Health and Safety Protocol, which looks to offer guests, partners, and the local community a fully certified, clean and secure environment.

Following an inspection by TÜV Austria Hellas, the Marbella Corfu Hotel received the CoVid-Shield “Principal” rating for its “We Care” protocol.

A renowned certification and monitoring group specialized in quality and safety, TÜV Austria launched the CoVid-Shield certification scheme for businesses restarting their activity following the Covid-19 lockdown.

The TÜV AUSTRIA CoVid-Shield confirms that businesses:

– are taking the necessary measures, implementing the appropriate procedures and practices according to the competent authorities and the scientific community in order to prevent the transmission of the virus.
– are providing the means and infrastructure needed to implement procedures and practices.
– have sufficiently trained staff and are constantly updating knowledge with training programs in order to be aligned with new instructions as issued by the National Health Organizations and other authorities/institutes (eg WHO).
– are informing and giving guidance to all those who enter/use the business premises, in order to avoid the transmission of the virus.

The CoVid-Shield certification aims to increase the consumers’ trust in TÜV AUSTRIA CoVid-Shield certified businesses.

The TÜV AUSTRIA CoVid-Shield certification scheme applies to all hospitality companies (hotels, accommodation), catering, food preparation and processing units, transport companies and supply chain, supermarkets, commercial stores, sports and gymnastics centres, public services, educational centres, schools, facility management companies etc.
